Savage has taken care of the left handed hunter again by including us with the newly updated AXIS II line of rifles. These entry level, but full featured, left handed rifles look great for the beginning hunter, or one who’s tight on a budget.
Like the full line of right handed rifles, the left handed rifles feature a 22″ button rifled barrel, detachable box magazine, and Savage’s renown AccuTrigger. 9 chamberings are offered from .223 Remington to the .30-06 Springfield, plus 2 are offered in the Axis Compact. The new ergonomics look similar to the new AccuFit stocks, but not adjustable.
