Probably one of the more interesting models is the Savage Model 64 Takedown. This is one of the few left handed semi-automatic rimfire rifles out there. It features 16.5″ barrel with open sites and a special barrel nut that acts as the takedown mechanism. Includes an Uncle Mikes Bug-Out Bag for easy transport.

The ever popular Rascal line now has slightly beefed up option for the kids. The Savage Rascal FV-SR Left Handed rifle drops the peep sights of the original rascal, and adds a heavy barrel with a threaded muzzle. Great for teaching the kids the fundamentals with the benefits of attaching a suppressor to keep it quiet. Just add a scope and you’re good to go for some great family fun. Also comes in Pink to keep the all kids interested.

The little big brother to the Racal FLV-SR, Savage has introduced the Savage Rascal Target XP Left Hand. Similar to he Rascal FV-SR, it also has a heavy barrel and threaded muzzle plus an 11° target crown. But instead of scope bases and a synthetic stock, the Target XP is fully out fitted with a rail, 4×32 scope, hardwood stock, and bipod. Quite the tactical trainer. It too comes in pink, and the cans at the range never had a chance.
